Before your appointment:

• remove all makeup, oils, and false eyelashes/extensions from your eyes.  This ensures the treatment solution can adhere properly to your lashes, resulting in a better lift.  You can also brush your lashes after cleaning to remove any residue.
• It is best to stop using water-proof mascara 2 days prior to you lash lift appointment.
• Remove your contact lenses before your treatment.  We provide solution and cases if needed.
• Ensure you do not have an eye infection or irritation of the eye area – as treatment cannot be performed until this has cleared up.
• If you haven’t filled out the consent form prior to your appointment, come a little early to complete it.

for the first 24 hours:

• Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours.
• Avoid hot water, steam rooms & swimming for the first 24 hours.
• No mascara for the first 24 hours & avoid waterproof mascaras in general.
• Sleep on your back or side & keep your lashes off the pillow for the first 24 hours.  Your lashes are prone to kinks during the first 24 hours after the procedure.
• If redness or irritation occurs, apply a cool damp cotton compress to the eye area.  If symptoms persist for more than 24 hours seek medical advice.

after 24 hours:

• Be gentle with your lashes – no rubbing or pulling.
• Removed eye makeup gently with non-oily removers.
• Gently brush your lashes as needed with a lash brush.
• Avoid any oils around your eyes for 2 days after treatment.
• Wait at least 6 weeks until your next lift & tint appointment.
• Conditioning your lashes will keep them healthy and prolong the life of your lash lift and tint.  One week after treatment, brush on coconut or castor oil twice a week.
